Hargreaves
Hamilton & Company Ltd. |
|
Hargreaves
Hamilton & Company was set up in 1923 to manage
the many properties that had been acquired through the
purchase of textile machinery. These machine purchases
had necessitated buying the mill buildings as well as
all the contents.
|
|
The
role of the company has grown and now it takes care
of the administrative needs of the Group and has since
been able to develop an efficient strategy that envelopes
all the financial and administration services required
by the various companies.
|
|
|
Using
the latest information technology, the company has built
up an integrated computer system enabling all the companies
within the Group to have access to and benefit from
monthly management figures, up to date stock records
and customer databases.
|
|
Having
such systems in house allows the Group to benefit in
two main ways. Firstly, overheads are shared and kept
to a minimum and, secondly, all data is kept current
enabling management to react quickly to any changes.
